Seattle ranked 5th snobbiest city
Another day, another city ranking.
In a new survey of the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine, Seattle tied with Santa Fe as the fifth most stuck-up cities in America.
The magazine’s readers were asked to rank U.S. cities on various snobby criteria, such as which are the least friendly, which have the most smartypants locals, and which offer an abundance of posh shops and high-brow culture.
According to the Travel + Leisure blog post, it was Seattle’s “concentration of espresso-drinking software engineers” that pushed us into the upper echelon of snobbishness.
The No. 1 most insufferable city is San Francisco, followed by New York, Boston, and Minneapolis/St. Paul.
