Wild ride: Suspects in stolen vehicle hit several cars

Police are looking for a man and woman who, in a stolen car, hit three parked cars and an occupied vehicle in the Ravenna area Monday.

According to Seattle police, a parking enforcement officer spotted the occupied stolen vehicle at about 8 p.m. near the corner of 17th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 52nd Street.

A patrol unit attempted to stop the vehicle in the 2300 block of Northwest 55th Street.  The vehicle sped away, and officers turned off their emergency lights and siren.

The stolen vehicle continued to flee at a high rate of speed. After turning south on 25th Avenue Northeast, it his a northbound vehicle and three parked vehicles.

After heading south about 10 blocks, the stolen car hit a street sign and tree, and the man and woman inside the car fled on foot.  Patrol officers and a K-9 unit were unable to find the suspects.

The man and woman in the vehicle that was struck were taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
