Woman stabbed in Belltown; girlfriend in custody
UPDATE, 9:11 a.m. | A woman was arrested for stabbing her girlfriend in the face and neck multiple times shortly after midnight this morning, police said.
The woman said her girlfriend had stabbed her with two knives, after accusing her of being unfaithfu,l in an apartment in the 2200 block of Fourth Avenue. Officers arrived to find the victim alert and conscious on the front steps of the apartment building. SWAT officers arrived and took the suspect into custody.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was booked into King County Jail.
ORIGINAL POST | Seattle police have arrested a woman after she allegedly stabbed another woman early this morning in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.
The stabbing was reported just before 1 a.m. at Fourth Avenue and Bell Street, according to police. The suspect then went inside her apartment, where she was taken into custody a short time later.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with what police called serious wounds.
