14-year-old boy stabbed in Enumclaw; suspect sought

King County Sheriff’s officers were searching for a suspect Sunday in the reported stabbing of a 14-year-old boy in Enumclaw.

Emergency crews responded Saturday night to the 19100 block of S.E. 408th Street, where the boy had been stabbed in the chest, apparently in an argument between friends, Sgt. Cindi West reported on a department Twitter feed.

West said a helicopter and K-9 units were deployed Saturday night in a search for a 21-year-old suspect. The victim was in stable condition late Saturday at Harborview Medical Center, West said.
