Tacoma police are asking for help identifying a man suspected of robbing three banks in Tacoma in different disguises.
Each time he showed the teller a note demanding cash, received it and walked out of the bank, according to the Tacoma/Pierce County Crime Stoppers website.
Friday at 1:15 p.m., the man, dressed in jeans, a tan-collared shirt and an orange construction vest, robbed an AmericanWest Bank in the 1000 block of A Street in downtown Tacoma, the Crime Stoppers website says.
Detectives suspect he is the same man who robbed an East Tacoma Key Bank on July 31 dressed as a woman in a blue jumper, and who robbed a Central Tacoma Key Bank on Aug. 2 dressed as a cyclist with long, blond hair.
The descriptions on the Crime Stoppers website say the suspect is in his 40s, approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds.
