Stabbing suspect arrested outside First Hill hospital
A 43-year-old woman was arrested after she stabbed another woman this morning during an argument, Seattle police said.
The victim, 24, and suspect became embroiled in an argument in 700 block of 18th Avenue just before 5:30 a.m. that ended when the victim was stabbed with an unknown object, police said. The victim was driven to nearby Swedish Medical Center/First Hill by a male friend who was witnessed the incident, according to police.
For some reason, the suspect also came along for the ride.
Staff at Swedish called 911 to report the stabbing. Officers arrived and arrested the suspect outside the hospital, police said.
The victim was later taken to Harborview Medical Center for additional treatment. Her condition was not immediately known.
The suspect is expected to be booked into the King County Jail later this morning, police said.
