How much do you know about the sharks in Puget Sound?

Did you know that dogfish — yes, it’s a shark — can grow to be four feet long (some as big as six feet long) and live to be 30-years-old or more?

And then there’s the sixgill shark which can reach some 20 feet long.

For details on these and other fascinating sharks, see the post by Julie Hall of our community news partner Inside Bainbridge. It’s loaded with facts and figures that may surprise you about the sharks of Puget Sound.
