Woman is found dead, brother wounded in SeaTac stabbing

The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing incident in SeaTac that left a woman dead and her brother with several wounds, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.

Sgt. Cindi West said the woman and her brother both appeared to be in their 20s. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The man called 911 about 10:40 a.m. Monday, West said. Deputies responded to an apartment in the 3200 block of South 180th Street.

The man told police that two men came to the apartment demanding money, then stabbed him and his sister, West said.

Deputies found some blood on the man had dried, indicating the stabbing occurred hours earlier.

Both of the assailants were wearing beanie-style hats, West said.
