Work next week to restrict traffic at Mercer Street, I-5 ramp

Road work will affect traffic on Mercer Street and Fairview Avenue North near Interstate 5 on Monday and Tuesday, according to a city announcement.

The Interstate 5 off-ramp left turn lane from Mercer onto southbound Fairview will be temporarily narrowed to one lane, and the left lane of southbound Fairview between Mercer and Republican streets will be closed.

The right southbound lane on Fairview will stay open both days, though, and both roads will continue to be navigable, the release said.
