Boy hurt in fall through school skylight

A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized after he fell through the skylight of the Nathan Eckstein Middle School, in the 3000 block of Northeast 75th Street, shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, Seattle police report.

The boy and two others were playing on the roof. According to police, he was trying to jump over the skylight when he crashed through and fell 25 feet. He was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
