Logging truck loses load on Interstate 405

A logging truck has spilled its load on northbound Interstate 405 at Northeast 160th Street, blocking several lanes, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The driver of a car that was struck by the logs has been taken to the hospital, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A loader has arrived and is cleaning up the mess, but it will likely be some time before the freeway is clear. Until then, all lanes other than the HOV lane will remain closed, according to the State Patrol.
