Niners fans find a spot in a sea of Hawks
A dozen 49ers fans managed to score a prime tailgating spot, next to the $60 parking lot east of the CLink, after driving up from the Bay Area for some high-level seats at the game.
Dan McGuire predicts a 35-28 Niners win. “It’s going to be a good game regardless, that’s why we came up. He said his group has Seattle friends, who got them a tailgate spot — the two clans shared shredded pork, beer and vodka.
“Everybody’s been very nice, in Seattle in general,” he said.
Like the Hawks fans, they played beanbag toss.
McGuire turned to Seattle fan Kari Johnson and exclaimed “Busta Rhymes,” pretending not to recognize her cutout of Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman.
Johnson said, “We know they’re Seahawks fans at heart. That’s why we allow them in our neck of the woods, because the Seahawks will win the game.”
