Seattle cops: Victim too drunk to recall who shot him

Seattle police are investigating a shooting from last week — but they don’t have much to go on.

Police responded to Airport Way South and South Massachusetts Street at about 8 p.m. Saturday where Seattle Fire Department medics were treating a man for a gunshot wound to his shin.

The wounded man told police he’d been extremely intoxicated over the previous  several days. Although he recalled the shooting had happened several days earlier, he did not remember where, when, or who had shot him, according to police. The man didn’t want to answer other questions about the shooting, police said.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of a non-life-threatening wound.
