Teen falls through skylight at Eckstein Middle School

UPDATE | 6:53 p.m:

A 13-year-old boy who was playing on the roof with two other youths fell through a skylight at Eckstein Middle School in Seattle at about 5:11 p.m. today.

The boy suffered a loss of consciousness, but was listed in stable condition at Harborview Medical Center, according to the Seattle Fire Department. Police said the teen was conscious and alert during the ride to the hospital.

The fire department initially said the teenager fell 30 feet, but police later said he fell between 15 to 20 feet, and landed on the floor inside the building.

No further details were immediately available.
