Woman dies in Arlington house fire
ARLINGTON (AP) — The Snohomish County sheriff’s office is investigating the death of a woman whose body was found after a house fire in Arlington.
Spokeswoman Shari Ireton says there’s no obvious sign of a crime, but investigators are waiting for the cause of death from the medical examiner’s office and the cause of the fire from fire investigators.
The fire was reported Saturday night by a neighbor. Firefighters and detectives found the body early Sunday.
The Daily Herald reports the woman who was about 50 years old was alone in the house.
