UPDATE: Lockdowns lifted at 2 Federal Way schools
UPDATE AT 11:26 A.M.: The lockdowns at the two schools have been lifted.
ORIGINAL POST: Two Federal Way schools are under external lockdown due to a threat received by both schools, the school district is reporting.
The nature of the threat has not been disclosed.
Additional security is at Sacajawea Middle School and Todd Beamer High School, the school district said on its website. All students and staff are safe, the district says.
Classes are being conducted as normal and parents are asked not to pick up their children early.
