Body found in Lynnwood park not result of criminal activity

Lynnwood police say the death of a man whose body was found Sunday in a park is not suspicious and was not the result of criminal activity.

People out for a walk found the man’s body Sunday evening in the 6.4-acre Gold Park. An autopsy was performed today and police say the death does not appear to be suspicious nor the result of criminal activity. Police say there is no threat to the public.

The man’s name and cause and manner of death will be released by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
