Seattle police say last night’s stabbing that sent two people to the hospital stemmed from a fight between two groups of males.
Police said a group of friends had gone to the Westwood Village Shopping Center around 6:45 p.m. when they confronted another group of males. Two members of the first group, a 15-year-old boy and man, 21, got into a fist fight with members of the second group, and the older victim was stabbed, police said.
Members of the second group fled, but the 15-year-old and a friend chased them. After catching up with the group at a nearby QFC supermarket, the 15-year-old was also stabbed, according to police.
Both of victims were treated at the scene by medics and then taken to Harborview Medical Center. The suspects fled
Gang Unit detectives are investigating.
