Helicopter makes ‘hard landing’ in Skagit County

SEDRO-WOOLLEY (AP) — A Skagit County sheriff’s officer says a helicopter made a “hard landing” Thursday night in a field north of Sedro-Woolley, but the man and woman aboard suffered only bruises.

KOMO-TV reports that sheriff’s officers and Skagit County firefighters responded.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Annette Lindquist says the pilot and passenger refused medical attention.
