Seattle police say a 21-year-old man who was stabbed during a brawl outside a Capitol Hill bar early this morning went back inside for another couple of drinks before heading to a medical facility.
The victim told police he was at a bar near Broadway and Pike Street around 1 a.m. when he got into an argument with another patron. The two went outside to settle their differences, police said. After a brief brawl, the victim walked away from the fight when his side began to hurt, said police.
The victim then realized he had blood running down his back from a 2 1/2-inch stab wound. Police said the man went back into the bar and asked for two more shots of liquor.
The victim then walked to a medical facility, where staff called police.
When officers arrived, the man was only able to give them a vague description of the assailant.
