UPDATE: Patrol investigating fatal Port Angeles accident as vehicular homicide, DUI

UPDATE: 10:39 p.m. | The accident that killed a woman crossing Highway 101 in Port Angeles is being investigated as a possible vehicular homicide, and troopers have arrested the woman driving the vehicle on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, State Patrol spokesman Russ Winger tweeted.

ORIGINAL POST | A woman was killed when she was hit by a vehicle while walking across Highway 101 in Port Angeles Monday night, according to the State Patrol.

Clallam County troopers are investigating, and westbound traffic is slow at the scene.
