Seattle police investigating death of man found in Sodo area

Seattle police homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the Sodo neighborhood on Saturday.

Medics were flagged down that morning by someone who found a person under a blanket in “an obscure location off the road,” said police spokesman Mark Jamieson.

The man’s body was found near Fourth Avenue South and Edgar Martinez Drive South. The man’s identity and cause of death are likely to be released by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office today.

Anyone with information is asked to call Seattle police at 206-233-5000.
