13th DUI arrest for Port Orchard man

The Associated Press

PORT ORCHARD — A Port Orchard man who was arrested for a 13th time on suspicion of drunken driving was charged Thursday in Kitsap County District Court with felony DUI and attempting to elude police.

The Kitsap Sun reports Charles Thomas Sorensen is jailed with bail set at $1 million after Deputy Prosecutor Lael Carlson called him an extreme danger to the community.

The Washington State Patrol says he had an open beer and vodka bottle in his truck when he was stopped Wednesday night after crashing in a ditch.
