Bremerton police: Man in his 50s slain, suspect in custody

Police in Bremerton are investigating the slaying of a man in his 50s, according to spokesman Peter Fisher. Few details were made available, but police did say a suspect is in custody and the death is not believed to be the result of a random attack.

Lt. Pete Fisher said police were summoned to the 3400 block of Almira Drive, in the east side of the city, at 8:28 p.m, and the suspect was in custody by 8:50 p.m.

Fisher said no further information will be available tonight.
