Brief power outages affects 2,000 Kirkland households

About 2,000 homes in north Kirkland lost power for about half an hour Sunday afternoon.

The outage started at about 2 p.m. when a tree limb fell into a power line, said a spokesperson for Puget Sound Energy. Power was restored by 2:39.
