A motorcyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center to be treated for a broken leg after a car ran into him and left the scene, Seattle police report.
About 8:15 p.m. Saturday, the rider was stopped at a red light, facing south on West Marginal Way South, waiting to turn onto South Holden Street. A dark-charcoal-gray vehicle traveling north on West Marginal Way South struck the motorcycle, knocking it over onto the man, breaking his leg, police report.
The vehicle continued to drive north without stopping to provide information or help the injured rider.
