King County employee arrested for flashing, Sheriff’s Office says

A King County employee was arrested for investigation of indecent exposure after he reportedly showed his penis to a woman on a Metro bus, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Cindi West, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office, said a 30-year-old woman was sitting in the back of a Metro bus on Oct. 17 when a man in a suit allegedly exposed himself to her.

The man got on the bus near Third Avenue and Pike Street, the woman told police. He was standing in front of her, holding a briefcase in front of his crotch when he leaned over, moved the briefcase and exposed his genitals, West said.

The victim yelled, and the man got off the bus at the next stop, according to West.

West said investigating detectives tracked down the man, who was positively identified by the victim and booked into King County Jail on Thursday. He has since been released, she said.

The man resigned on Thursday from the county job he had held for approximately one month, according to KOMO TV.
