UPDATE: 10:05 a.m. | (Associated Press) Deputies are looking for two teens witnesses saw running away in the residential neighborhood. A police dog was unable to track them down.
The motive in the shooting is unclear, but King County Sheriff Deputy Charlie Akers says the victim still had his wallet and cell phone, so it doesn’t appear to be a robbery.
UPDATE 8:20 a.m.| King County Sheriff Deputy Charlie Akers said the fatal shooting occurred in the 200 block sw 108th Street.
Deputies performed CPR on the victim, but medics, arriving after the officers, pronounced the victim dead at the scene, Akers said.
Detectives from the sheriff’s office major crimes unit are investigating.
