Man in Halloween mask robs Pioneer Square business

A man wearing a Halloween mask robbed the office of Seattle’s Underground Tour on Halloween night, Seattle police say.

The victim had been standing outside the business in the Pioneer Building at 608 1st Ave. when he re-entered the building and felt someone press an object against his back, police said. The victim was forced into the building and was shoved into a wall.

The robber then forced the victim to take him to the business office and forced him to open a safe and place money into a bag.

The robber then tried to zip-tie the victim’s hands behind his back, but for unknown reasons was unable to do it, police said. He then took the cash and fled, possibly in a vehicle.

The victim eventually left the office and called 911.

The robber may have been wearing a T-shirt and jeans.
