Man jumps from burning Seattle house

A man suffered minor injuries today after jumping from the second floor of a burning house in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood.

The Seattle Fire Department reported a man went to Harborview Medical Center with minor smoke inhalation and cuts to his arm after he jumped from a house in the 9300 block of Beacon Avenue South. The man was not identified.

Food on the stove caused the blaze, according to the fire department.
