UPDATE: Police looking for Marysville brothers, ages 2, 3

Update at 12:16 p.m.:| The missing Marysville brothers have been found safe and are in protective custody.

Original post:|

MARYSVILLE (AP) — Marysville police are looking for two brothers, ages 2 and 3, who were taken Sunday by their biological mother who is considered unfit.

Police say the 30-year-old woman had recently been released from the Snohomish County Jail and took the boys after a visit with their grandmother, who is their guardian.

The Department of Social and Health Services deemed the mother unfit because she is homeless and depends on drugs. Child Protective Services says the boys are endangered and should be taken into protective custody.
