A 53-year-old male pedestrian suffered multiple fractures and was in serious but stable condition at Harborview Medical Center at 9 p.m. Thursday after what police described as a complicated set of circumstances.
Seattle Police spokesman Mark Jamieson said that one individual is being interviewed and that “we’re trying to get to the bottom of events.”
The Capitol Hill Seattle Blog reports that the incident “reportedly involved a person ending up on the hood of a vehicle and being carried up Capitol Hill . . .”
The injured man was found by medics near East Olive Way and East Denny Way, said Seattle Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore.
He said that at the same time the call came in about the 53-year-old man, another call about an injured man at Bellevue Avenue and East Olive Way also came in.
But medics found no one at the second address.
