A woman drove over the off-ramp barrier from the 1st Avenue South Bridge Saturday at 10:36 p.m., Seattle police detective Jeff Kappel wrote on the SPD Blotter.

He reports that the woman was driving her Honda Accord northbound across the 1st Avenue South Bridge.  She entered the Michigan Street off-ramp, lost control of her car and went over the concrete barrier, landing on South River Street below.  She was alone in the car and was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening head injuries.
