ABERDEEN — Investigators have determined that the woman killed by a hit-and-run driver near Aberdeen was struck by a Chevrolet van commonly used as a work vehicle. It could be from the 2003 to 2011 model years when the body style was the same.
KBKW reports the Washington State Patrol is asking for the public’s help in finding the van, which will be missing the passenger side mirror and have damage to the passenger side headlight.
Katrina D. Rugg was found dead Dec. 3 along Highway 12. The 36-year-old was last seen alive Dec. 1 leaving her family’s home in Aberdeen.
