Burn bans lifted for King, Snohomish and Pierce counties

The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency has lifted the Stage 1 air quality burn ban for King, Snohomish Pierce counties.

The burn ban had been issued on Christmas day.

During a Stage 1 burn ban, burning is not allowed in fireplaces or uncertified wood stoves. The only exception is if a wood stove is a home’s only adequate source of heat. No outdoor fires are allowed, including recreational fires such as bonfires, campfires as well as the use of fire pits and chimineas.
