Charges filed against 1 of 2 suspects in $650,000 Seattle wine heist

Charges were filed today against a 34-year-old man — one of two suspects — in the theft of $650,000 worth of wine from a retailer/storage facility in Seattle’s Sodo neighborhood.

Samuel Arby Harris was charged with a single count each of burglary in the first degree, theft in the second degree and attempted arson in the first degree, according to information from the King County Prosecutor’s Office.

Harris is being held on $500,000 bail, and is scheduled for arraignment on Dec. 19, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.

The second suspect is still at large.
