Man stabbed in Everett; girlfriend in custody

Everett police have arrested an 18-year-old woman in the stabbing of her 25-year-old boyfriend Thursday night.

The Shoreline woman was booked into Snohomish County Jail after she allegedly stabbed the man in the neck inside a 1995 Toyota Tercel, according to police.

With blood on his clothes, the man walked into a business in the 3000 block of Everett Avenue just after 7:45 p.m. Thursday, telling employees he had been stabbed and then collapsing on the floor.

Employees provided immediate medical assistance and called 911, police say.

The woman was detained shortly thereafter.

The man, who was initially taken to Providence Medical Center, is now at Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
