Power restored to most of 11,000 who lost power in West Seattle

UPDATE 2:45 p.m.:  Power has been restored to all but about 400 customers.

Previous post:  Power was cut to nearly 11,000 homes and businesses in a wide area of West Seattle this morning after a broken tree branch fell on two feeder lines.

Thomsen said the utility hopes to restore service to the bulk of customers by 1 p.m.
