SPD: Man in his 40s grazed by a bullet, or maybe not

UPDATE, 8:13 p.m. | Seattle Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore said medics took the victim to Harborview Medical Center, and that the man was stable and had bleeding from the back of his ear.

Moore said its unclear how the victim was wounded, although the main claimed he was shot. Moore said the medics didn’t see a gunshot wound

Moore said the man “very belligerent and very intoxicated.”

Seattle Police also say the victim was found at 20th & Jackson, but may have walked or run to that location.

ORIGINAL POST | Seattle police are investigating a shooting tonight that grazed a man in the head.

The man, who police say is in his 40s, was hit at 20th Avenue South and South Jackson Street.

So far, police don’t know why the man was shot, according to a Police Department tweet, but “preliminary” information is that there are four male suspects and one female suspect.
