1 person injured in Shoreline house fire

One person was injured in a house fire in Shoreline Thursday afternoon, according to the Shoreline Fire Department.

Shoreline and Seattle fire departments responded to the fire, located at the 18300 block of Stone Avenue North, around 4 p.m. Firefighters had the fire under control in about 10 minutes. Initial reports of an explosion were not confirmed, but the tires of the vehicles in the driveway did blow out.

One person was taken to Harborview Medical Center after suffering burns, according to SFD.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
