Federal Way man arrested in child porn investigation

A Federal Way man was arrested today for dealing in large amounts of child pornography, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The 29-year-old was taken into custody after detectives executed a search warrant at a Federal Way residence and seized digital media devices that contained illegal images. The investigation originated after detectives discovered files containing known child pornography were being traded across the Internet, and further investigation directed detectives to the Federal Way residence. Officers also arrested an additional man on an unrelated felony warrant.

The Federal Way man was booked into the King County Jail on multiple charges of dealing and possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
