Northbound I-5 collision causes 10-mile backup

A collision on northbound Interstate 5 near Edmonds is causing a 10-mile backup, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Emergency responders took up the right lane while clearing the accident site south of 220th Street, officials said. The accident caused significant backup during rush hour.

The collision site has been cleared.
