Man struck by a train in Sodo neighborhood

A man was hospitalized this afternoon after he was struck by a Link light-rail train in Seattle’s Sodo neighborhood.

Seattle Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore said that the man, in his 30s, was struck at South Holgate Street and Fourth Avenue South. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center around 4 p.m.

The man is expected to survive, Moore said.
