A man driving in Seattle’s Central Area was shot in the wrist early today by someone in another vehicle, police reported.
The shooting took place sometime before 2:30 a.m., when the 21-year-old gunshot victim showed up at Harborview Medical Center. His wound was not considered life-threatening, police said.
The man later told police he’d been driving with his girlfriend near 26th Avenue and East Yesler Way when someone in another car started shooting at them.
Police said the man told them he did not see the shooter or the suspect car. Seattle police gang-unit detectives recovered shell casings at the shooting scene.
