The Marysville man whose body was recovered from the Stillaguamish River between Arlington and Darington last week has been identified.
Thomas DeLazzari, 71, drowned in the river, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. His death is classified as an accident.
DeLazzari was reported missing Jan. 20 by family members after he failed to return home from a fishing trip to Oso. A sheriff’s deputy located his vehicle later that night along state Highway 530. His body was spotted in the water the next morning after crews launched a search.
