Washington ferries start winter schedule Sunday

The Associated Press

Washington state ferries start their winter sailing schedule on Sunday.

Service to Sidney, British Columbia, is suspended and fewer sailings are scheduled in the San Juan Islands and on some other routes.

The winter schedule is in effect through April 5.
