Woman robbed on South Seattle street

A woman suffered minor injuries during a robbery in South Seattle on Friday night.

Police say the 60-year-old victim’s purse was snatched shortly after she exited a Metro bus at Beacon Avenue South and South Cloverdale Street around 6 p.m.

She was knocked to the ground and sustained a small abrasion to the back of her head. She was treated at the scene.

Police searched for the suspect, described as a male wearing dark clothing, but were not able to find him.
