Lake Desire homicide suspect arrested

King County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a 34-year-old man Saturday night in connection with a shooting death last Monday evening at a Lake Desire home near Renton. Investigators believe the victim, Ryan Prince, 27, may have interrupted a burglary.

The suspect was arrested in the 1700 block of South Homer Street in Tacoma. Investigators say they are seeking other suspects and a possible getaway vehicle, described as a purple Chrysler PT Cruiser with Washington license plates AKY8871.

Detectives are asking anyone with information related to this crime to call the sheriff’s office at 206-296-3311, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
