Ryan Prince

The man who was killed Monday night near Renton has been identified as Ryan Prince, 27.

Prince died of gunshot wounds in a home near Lake Desire, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies responded around 10:40 p.m. to a report that Prince was not breathing in a house in the 17800 block of Lake Desire Drive. Detectives believe Prince may have interrupted a burglary when he was shot, the sheriff’s office says.

The residents of the home are owners/operators of The Solution, a medical marijuana business. A woman who answered the phone at the business declined to comment this morning.

Detectives are asking anyone with information related to this crime to call the sheriff’s office at 206-296-3311, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
