Man critically injured by gunfire in Skyway

A man was in the hospital in critical condition after being shot in the abdomen early this morning, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

According to sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. Cindi West, deputies responded to reports of multiple gunshots at the Creston Point Apartments in the 13400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South in Skyway at 3:30 a.m., she said.

There they found an injured man in the parking lot, West said.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center and is reported to be in critical condition, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives are investigating, but no suspects have been identified at this point, West said.
